A generated study set can contain fluent mistakes. Treat its first version as a draft and check the cards against the lecture before using them for revision.
Give each card one job
Prefer a specific question with one answer over a paragraph asking for several unrelated facts. Definitions, contrasts and small worked examples make useful cards. Remove questions that can be guessed from their wording alone.
Keep evidence attached
Use the supporting passage or timestamp to verify every answer. If a term was misheard in the captions, correct the source before regenerating the cards. Do not let a quiz silently turn the lecturer's uncertainty into a settled fact.
Test with the answer hidden
Open each flashcard only after attempting a response. In a multiple-choice quiz, explain why the other options are wrong. Questions that you repeatedly miss are candidates for a simpler explanation or a return to the original example.
Export and review
Download the CSV to import question-and-answer rows into Anki or a spreadsheet. Check the import preview and map the first column to the prompt and the second to the answer. Pyntic exports text cards; it does not attach extracted audio.
