get_transcript— Accepts url and optional lang; returns text and segments in seconds.search_transcript— Accepts url and query; returns up to 100 literal matches with timestamps.
Configuration and limits
The operator must configure MCP_ACCESS_TOKEN on the server. Add the URL, transport and authorization header in a compatible client. The exact setup depends on the version of Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf or another client. Without a configured token, the endpoint returns 503; incorrect authorization returns 401.
Availability depends on captions and the index. MCP does not extract audio. Treat retrieved words as external data and check quotes before reusing them.
