Pyntic
Privacy and data use
How Pyntic's browser tools, transcript services and saved references handle your content.
Browser-local documents
PDF, EPUB and text utilities process local files in your browser. The conversion tools do not upload these documents to a conversion server. Downloads remain under your control.
Transcripts and connected services
A request to retrieve public captions sends the video identifier to the server and relevant source service. Audio uploads and social-video transcription use the connected media worker. AI tasks send the submitted transcript and prompt to the configured AI provider; do not submit material you are not permitted to share.
Saved references
The existing reference library uses browser local storage. It is not synchronized to an account. Clearing site data can remove saved references; export important material before doing so.
Measurement and external playback
Production pages include Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics and an advertising script. These providers may receive connection and usage data under their own policies. YouTube embeds are requested when you choose playback. Browser settings can limit storage and external requests.
Retention and control
Shared notes are stored in the configured database for 7 days and accessible to anyone with their link. Editing links grant modification access. The ordinary transcript workspace does not automatically save your text. Download your work before leaving. Connected service operators control their own processing and retention; review their terms before submitting sensitive material.
