Mobile video interfaces do not always expose the same transcript controls as desktop browsers. If selecting text is awkward, work from the original link rather than repeatedly tapping a caption overlay.
Keep the source link
Use the video's Share control to copy its URL. Open Pyntic in your browser and paste the link into the transcript extractor. This keeps the video source attached to the retrieval step.
Use the browser when the app is limiting
You can also open the original video in a browser and request the desktop version if the transcript control is missing. Availability depends on the video's captions and the current YouTube interface; changing the view cannot create missing captions.
Copy or save a file
Use Copy text for a short note, or export TXT or Markdown for a longer document. If clipboard access is unavailable, downloading is a reliable alternative. On iOS, check the Files app for downloaded documents.
Check a passage before sharing
Find a specific phrase, listen to its original moment, and include the video link when sharing. Avoid sending only a screenshot of text without its source. Save your export before changing tabs or closing the browser.
