A note-taking system becomes useful when you can find a claim and return to its evidence. Markdown is a convenient transport format, but organization still depends on the structure you give the note.
Use a consistent note header
Start with the video title, source URL, speaker if known and the date you accessed it. Add a one-sentence description of why you saved it. Do not invent a publication date when the source does not provide one.
Divide notes by concept
Use headings for concepts and keep supporting timestamps below them. A paragraph of interpretation should be separate from a direct quotation. Link related notes only when the relationship helps you navigate or understand the topic.
Move the file into your workspace
Export Markdown from Pyntic. Import or paste it into Notion, or save the file in your Obsidian vault. This is a file-based workflow; it does not create a live synchronization connection or automatically update a database.
Make revision manageable
Keep the original transcript in a source folder and the distilled note elsewhere. When a correction arrives, update both the quotation and any conclusion that depends on it. A small, traceable knowledge base is easier to maintain than hundreds of unreviewed dumps.
